In Scotland you never know if the sun will shine! Even though the rain held off, it was wonderful to have this large tent. Knowing that the food would stay dry made the picnic at the manse stress free for me. Every now and then a gust of wind would come and the ladies would be seen heading into the safety of the tent.
The burgers and sausage were delightful . . .
. . . and the puddings were a hit. Joshua was part of the group of judges who awarded the baker of the best dessert with a prize.
There was plenty of time for fellowship,
rides to be ridden,
. . . and a tent to be taken down.
We all had a great time but were tired by the end of the afternoon. I was left with a clean yard and a kitchen with clean dishes and lots of leftover food!
