John thought the blog bash was the only big party he'd get but we had other plans that he didn't know about. On Sunday after the evening service the congregation was invited to meet at the manse for birthday cake. John couldn't figure out why we had no refreshments at the Church after the service. We had about 35 guests! It was a delightful time.

How sweet! Now you'll have to teach them Riverside's version of Happy Birthday! I'm glad to see that you had so many guests and he didn't have a quiet celebration:)
