Though we both worked for most of the week, Daddy on his lectures for the Maritime Reformed Institute, and I on my school work, we did take a day out to go to Prince Edward Island. (I also went with Murray to the shooting range one afternoon but I forgot to bring the camera.)

We had a great day together. We visited Rev. Kent Compton and his wife Isobel. He is minister of the Western Charge of the Free Church of Scotland on the Island. It was interesting to speak of our Scotland experiences. Kent studied in Edinburgh and Isobel is from the Isle of Lewis.

Province House where the politicians of what would later be the Dominion of Canada met in 1864.

Prince Edward Island's rugged, red beauty.
