Today was the shortest day of the year! Sunrise was at 8:59am and Sunset was at 3:29pm.
From this day forward, the days will get longer. Before we know it, summer will be here and we will hardly see night at all.
Poor kids are in bed by 4:30pm and think I let them stay up late!! No, not really. On the bright side, it's a good time of year to have candle light dinners...early.
The kids were off school today . . . snow day!

That might be nice... to say that it was time for bed at 4:30 that is... as long as they slept in in the morning as well.
