We had a lovely day at Dornoch beach (about a 10 minute drive away), enjoying the sun, blue sky, and the beautiful sandy beach. A few of the children got wet and Joshua spent about an hour swimming in his new wet suit. We were surprised to see so many kids in bathing suits (swimming costumes, as they say).
We splurged on three new (expensive) beach shovels on our way to the beach and we came home with one whole one. Where is Dollarama when you need it?

It was pretty warm...about 24 degrees. We had our jackets on b/c of the wind.There were lots of kids in the water in just their swim suits. We've had a brilliant week in the mid 20s with all sun. That is pretty nice! It is cooling down now and it is said that there will be snow on the mountains this week.
