Breaking News. . .

On Tuesday, March 13, our family experienced a March break of a different kind. John was carrying Joshua's hockey net, slipped on some ice (not the ice rink), and as he fell he heard the snap!
The xray showed a broken fibula. On Wednesday the surgeon screwed the fibula and tibia together and set the break.

John continues working in his study as he prepares to preach this Lord's Day, dependent on his many eager helping hands. (Lucy and the kids made this shirt and gave it to John when he was in the hospital.)

Stephen is not too keen on his daddy's cast (the picture below shows the pre-surgery cast) or crutches though he still likes his daddy.

How come Lucy's years are the years of marriage? Weren't you helpful prior to that? ;)

Hope the crutch maneuvering is going well! Ouch!
