We had a fabulous time with the Lucases. They stayed from Tuesday night till Saturday morning. On Friday afternoon we drove around enjoying the sights. We had a week of hoar frost. In some places the frost was so thick that it looked like snow. It was brilliant!! It truly was a winter wonderland! We thought we were in Narnia except we just had Christmas. . . and a delightful one at that!
And now we are in 2009! We welcomed in the year watching fireworks in our new town with Jean and Allister. We had lots of time to call folk in Canada to wish them a Happy New Year. We kinda felt ahead of the times!
